About Us

The b kinder foundation is a heart-led national charity transforming lives through early intervention programs in schools, workplaces, and communities. Our mission is to reduce mental health challenges, bullying, and suicide by inspiring young people—and the leaders around them—to be kinder, more compassionate humans.

We are not just about feel-good moments. We are about real cultural change—creating kinder schools, workplaces, councils, and ultimately, a kinder world.

With 28 b kinder schools across Australia and exciting new initiatives like b kinder workplaces and b kinder councils, we are growing—and we need a passionate and experienced leader to help take us to the next level.

About the Role

This role is perfect for someone who wants to drive meaningful social change while balancing purpose and lifestyle. You will oversee everything from program development and team leadership to stakeholder engagement and strategic growth—ensuring our work reaches every corner where kindness is needed.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead, develop and grow b kinder programs and initiatives in schools, workplaces and councils

· Manage day-to-day charity operations with strategic oversight
Build relationships with schools, donors, councils, and community leaders

· Drive innovation and ensure measurable impact across our programs

· Lead a small but mighty team with kindness, courage and collaboration

· Travel to attend and lead workshops and events, bringing our mission to life

· Represent b kinder as a thought leader and kindness advocate in the media and public forums

What You will Bring

· Experience in leadership roles—ideally in non-profits or education

· Compassionate, values-driven leadership style

· Confidence in managing programs, people and budgets

· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

· Passion for kindness, empathy and creating inclusive communities

· Bonus: Experience working with schools or youth, and knowledge of the Australian non-profit sector
