About the role:

This is your entry-level opportunity to launch your career in public relations and strategic communications. You'll:

Create compelling content across social media, media, websites, video and audio

Support media campaigns and build relationships with journalists

Conduct research and contribute to client and project strategies

Work across diverse projects that create real-world impact.

You can work remotely, or hybrid from our offices in Mornington or Traralgon, VIC. You will work 35 hours across the week.

What you'll be doing:

Assisting with the development and implementation of strategic PR and communications campaigns

Conducting research, media monitoring and analysis to identify opportunities and trends

Drafting media content, thought leadership articles, social media content and other PR materials

Liaising with journalists and producers to secure media coverage for our clients

Supporting the coordination of media events and other PR activities

Collaborating with the wider team across projects

Contributing to the continuous improvement of our PR and communications processes.

What we're looking for:

A recent degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or a related field

Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor your style to different audiences

Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills

An eye for detail

Proven experience in using social media and digital communication channels

Enthusiasm for the PR and media industry and a genuine passion for effective storytelling and news

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
