Job Title: Financial Controller (Property Investment & Management)

Location: Brisbane, QLD (Hybrid – Flexible Working Hours)

Salary Package: AU$130,000 – AU$150,000 per annum + Superannuation

Company Overview

We are a small, dynamic property investment and management company based in Brisbane, overseeing a portfolio of commercial and residential properties. Our team of directors and property managers is seeking a CPA or CA Qualified Financial Controller to take charge of the company’s financial operations and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily bank reconciliations

Prepare and update weekly cash flow forecasts across the group

Generate monthly rent and carpark invoices for tenants across 5 properties

Issue monthly electricity and water invoices for 3 properties

Process and pay supplier invoices

Oversee lease administration and maintain tenancy schedules

Ensure correct expense coding (capital, outgoings, general expenses)

Manage payroll and superannuation

Lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS)

Prepare outgoings budgets and coordinate annual washups

Liaise with auditors to coordinate outgoings audits

Reconcile inter-company loan accounts across 7 entities

Complete quarterly balance sheet reconciliations

Process quarter-end journals from external accountants
