Our client is a National Law firm and comes highly sought after. As a specialist in Insurance, this firm has a reputation for being one of Australia's leaders in this space, and attracts top talent. They are seeking a Solicitor or Associate to join its well-established Statutory Insurance team in Brisbane. The group advises on personal injury, workers’ compensation, public liability and compulsory third-party matters for a mix of government, insurers, and self-insured clients.

You’ll work closely with a respected partner and gain exposure to complex files, high-profile clients, and structured development opportunities.

About You

You will have a minimum of 2 year post admission experience and up to 5 years PAE, gained in defendant Insurance matters. You will have a background in personal injury, insurance litigation, or broader statutory classes.

You will enjoy a broad role, acting for insurers and corporate clients, defending property damage and. personal injury claims, pursuing recovery actions and providing advice on indemnity disputes and policy response in a wide range of general liability areas.

Key Areas of Work:

Workers’ compensation (scheme and self-insured)

CTP and personal injury litigation

Policy interpretation and coverage advice

Public and occupiers’ liability
