About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and creative Junior Category Product Manager to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their product development career who wants to learn from a high-performing, dynamic team.

In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced Product Managers to assist with the development and coordination of innovative homeware ranges. This is a hands-on role with great exposure across the full product lifecycle—from idea generation to product launch.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Category Product Managers across housewares, seasonal, and lifestyle categories

Help coordinate product development tasks such as sample tracking, packaging review, and product approvals

Assist with supplier communications and follow-ups under PM direction

Conduct competitor and trend research to support product concepts and range planning

Organise and maintain product documentation and internal tracking sheets

Work closely with design, sourcing, and operations teams to ensure timelines and quality standards are met

Participate in creative brainstorming and range presentations

Learn to negotiate on basic specs, timelines, and commercial terms (under guidance)

About You:

Expected Skills, Education, and Experience:

1–2 years of experience in product development, buying, design, or production coordination (internships included)

Tertiary studies in product design, fashion, business, or a related field

Exposure to retail, wholesale, or eCommerce environments

Comfortable using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Illustrator

Experience working with offshore suppliers is a plus, but not required

Working Arrangements:

This role is based in Bondi Junction, with a hybrid working model requiring three days a week in the office. Occasional flexibility to travel or assist with events/samples may be required.
