Rate: $50–60 per hour + Super

We’re working with a well-regarded organisation based in the CBD/Inner Suburbs, seeking a hands-on Accounts Payable Lead to support during a period of process change and transition. This is a 6-month contract with strong potential to extend or convert to permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the AP team, promoting efficiency and accuracy
• Oversee the full-function accounts payable process
• Troubleshoot invoice or payment issues and resolve escalations
• Support the rollout of a new PO system
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, and other departments to improve workflows
• Help monitor performance and ensure compliance with internal policies

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience leading an Accounts Payable function
• Confident working with various systems and adaptable to change
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Proactive and capable of identifying and solving problems independently
• Flexible and positive attitude – thrives in evolving environments
