Robert Half is working with a leading Construction & Engineering business in the Southern Suburbs that is seeking an immediately available candidate to join their finance team on an ongoing temporary basis.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Processing a high volume of supplier invoices in an accurate and timely manner
• Matching, batching, and coding invoices
• Managing supplier queries and ensuring prompt resolution
• Preparing weekly payment runs and reconciling accounts payable ledger
• Supporting month-end close activities related to AP
• Assisting with general finance admin and ad hoc tasks as required

Your Profile

• Proven experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable role
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Exposure to the construction or engineering industries is desirable but not essential
• Ability to start immediately and commit to an ongoing assignment
