Micway Transport is a specialist in temperature-controlled logistics, transporting chilled and frozen goods across NSW and the ACT. We are seeking a proactive and experienced Safety & Compliance Manager to lead the charge in ensuring operational safety, legal compliance, and industry best practices across our business.

What You'll Do:

Oversee and continuously improve safety and compliance frameworks (WHS, NHVL, CoR, HACCP)

Conduct investigations, audits, and risk assessments

Deliver internal training and toolbox talks to promote a safety-first culture

Monitor and ensure compliance with legislative requirements across all sites and vehicles

Liaise with regulatory authorities, internal teams, and external auditors

Maintain and manage key safety and compliance systems, documentation, and registers

Collaborate with our IT team to integrate safety protocols into our custom TMS.

What You’ll Bring:

Proven experience in a similar safety/compliance role, ideally in cold chain or transport

Strong knowledge of NHVL, CoR, HACCP, and WHS legislation

Exceptional communication and leadership skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to implement practical, operational solutions

Cert IV in WHS or equivalent highly desirable
