To support this continued growth, they are seeking a skilled and proactive Compliance Manager to strengthen their regulatory framework and ensure ongoing compliance with Australian financial standards.

About the Role

As Compliance Manager, you'll be a key leader in driving a strong culture of compliance and risk management across the organisation. This is a hands-on role suited to a compliance professional with a deep understanding of the Australian regulatory environment and a proactive approach to identifying and managing compliance risks.

You'll work closely with senior leadership to ensure the organisation remains fully compliant with evolving regulations and maintains a high standard of operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret developments in Australian financial services and credit legislation, including NCCP, AFSL, ASIC, AUSTRAC, and ACL obligations.
• Design, implement, and maintain compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
• Lead the compliance monitoring program to assess the effectiveness of controls and identify areas for improvement.
• Deliver timely compliance reporting to senior management, regulators, and relevant licensing bodies.
• Identify emerging regulatory and operational risks, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and regulatory bodies to manage audits and reviews.
• Manage breach reporting processes, ensuring prompt and accurate reporting in accordance with legal obligations.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in a compliance role within financial services or consumer lending.
• Strong knowledge of Australian financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
