As they continue their transformation & growth journey in the region, they are seeking to employ a Payroll Officer, to join their close knit, friendly payroll team on a 12-month fixed term contract, with potential of permanency upon completion.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Payroll Manager, this role will be responsible for:

The main responsibilities include:

• Processing weekly & monthly payroll for approx. 3000 staff in an accurate and timely fashion
• EA/Award interpretation
• Managing payroll queries
• Investigating T&A issues
• Assisting with month end - payroll tax, reconciliations, monthly reporting
• Leave processing & calculations

Your Profile

Critical to the success of this role will be your knowledge and understanding of payroll practices within a high-volume environment.
Your experience should ideally include:

• At least 5 years' experience in end-to-end payroll processing
• Comprehensive experience in a range of payroll systems including electronic time and attendance (Chris21 essential)
