Skills and Experience

• Strong experience in Ruby on Rails, including background job processing and building resilient, fault-tolerant systems using techniques like retries, back-offs, circuit breakers etc.
• Proven ability to improve CI/CD pipelines and design/implement observability tools, smoke tests, and debug tooling for both engineers and support teams.
• Comfortable making pragmatic decisions in a fast-paced startup environment, balancing speed and quality, with a strong bias toward solving problems efficiently.
• Experience in mentoring and elevating engineering standards across the team, while creating a culture of reliability and continuous improvement.
• Track record of delivering high-quality software at global scale, with deep technical problem-solving skills, strong code review capabilities, and the ability to drive projects to completion.
