Are you a motivated Civil Engineer or Site Engineer looking for your next challenge in the mining sector? We’re seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team on a high-profile mining decline project in rural New South Wales.

This FIFO position (ex-Brisbane or Sydney) offers an immediate start and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the potential for ongoing work upon project completion.

🔍 The Role

Working closely with the Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in:

Planning, executing and delivering civil infrastructure for underground mining works including tunnels, shafts and ventilation systems.

Coordinating subcontractors, managing QA documentation and maintaining quality control on-site.

Supporting project controls including reporting, data analysis via Power BI, and task tracking via SAP.

Managing project timelines, budgets and resources to ensure successful delivery.

Ensuring full compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards.

Conducting inspections and supporting the development of project variations and ITPs.

👷 About You

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil preferred).

1–2 years of underground mining experience.

Ability to obtain security clearance for handling explosives.

Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and ideally SAP.

Strong communicator with excellent teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills.

Proactive mindset with a focus on safety, compliance and quality.

Willingness to work a 8:6 FIFO roster.
