Our Melbourne Plant Mechanic will enjoy being part of our team and working in an energetic environment. Your primary duties will involve equipment safety checks, servicing, repairs, general maintenance.
About You
Minimum 3+ years mechanical experience in a similar role is highly desirable
Heavy Diesel/Plant Mechanic certificate
Commitment to high safety standards
Auto electrical trade certificate desirable
Must pass background check, drug test, and driving record check
Trustworthy, hard working and take pride in your work
Tasks & responsibilities
Confidently diagnose faults, make recommendations, and complete minor repairs as required
Quality inspections of our fleet pre-hire and on return
Be able to work as part of a team
Work within Preston Hire’s high safety, quality, and process standards
