With customer demand stronger than ever, the company now has a requirement for another Plant Mechanic to join the team.

Position Overview

The positions focus is providing mechanical service on the company's range of mineral processing, recycling and earthmoving equipment. Day-to-day tasks and duties including pre-delivery and modifying new equipment, inspections, services, preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs, breakdowns, on-site servicing & maintenance. Once trained and up to speed on the equipment, there will be opportunities for field service visiting sites across the mid-section of the state. Sometimes working in small teams, at other times with autonomy. When on-site you’ll be the face-of-the-company and will be interacting with customers. You’ll need to know what you’re doing when it comes to servicing and working on diesel engines and machinery. As with all modern equipment you’ll be dealing with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, including onboard diagnostics. Equipment training will be provided to the right candidate.

Key Requirements

• Trade Qualified Diesel/Plant Mechanic/Fitter or similar.
• Experience working on mobile plant, heavy vehicles, AG equipment or similar machinery.
• The desire to experience new equipment and learn new systems and technical skills.
• Computer literate, good communication skills with a helpful attitude.
• Flexable with the willingness to travel across Victoria when required.
• Solid and stable work history.
• Drivers license (HR ideally) and Citizen/PR.
