Position Overview:
We are seeking an immediately available, highly skilled Finance Officer. Our client is a family-owned business specialising in sourcing a wide range of products from both local and international suppliers. Our client has distribution centers across multiple locations in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process fortnightly payroll for 200 staff and weekly payroll for 10 staff.
• Manage PAYG, payroll tax, and superannuation payments and reconciliations.
• Conduct daily reconciliations with a high volume of transactions.
• Update and maintain the Fixed Asset register monthly.
• Handle accruals, prepayments, and the processing of COGS, stock reports, and write-offs.

About You:

• Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally in fast-paced environments.
• Ideally experience with Employment Hero.
• Strong skills in payroll, tax compliance, and reconciliations.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
