Iconic brand, manufacturing and retail business have a rare opportunity to join their Finance team on a temp to perm basis. As the Senior Accounts Officer you will, report to the supportive Finance Manager, and will be responsible for end to end payroll processing, payables and receivables. You will love the down to earth, team focused environment.

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the responsibilities of the role will include,

• End to end payroll processing (120 employees, a weekly and a monthly)
• Preparation of leave, entitlements, deductions, superannuation and tax
• Dealing with payroll queries and providing excellent customer service
• Matching purchase orders and coding invoices
• Goods receipting and GRNI reconciliations
• Managing approval process and set up of new Suppliers
• Managing payment runs
• Bank and Supplier reconciliations
• Accounts Receivable, banking, receipting and allocating of payments

About you
The successful applicant will have/be,

• Highly experienced in payroll processing
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation
• Ability to interpret Awards and EA's
• Full function AP and AR processing
• A high level of attention to detail and well developed organisational skills
• Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong ERP system experience (Micropay payroll advantageous)
