This is a wonderful opportunity for a Speech Pathologist who is eager to add some adventure into their career. Provide services via Telehealth (from anywhere in Australia!) and visit your clients in Darwin once every 4-6 weeks (with all expenses paid!).
Above industry salary: $90,000 - $115,000 Base + Super + additional bonuses!

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Speech Pathologist looking for a bit of adventure imbedded in their career. As you work alongside a dedicated Social Worker director, and team of OTs, you will fly to Darwin once every 4-6weeks to visit clients face-to-face. For with the remainder of the time, services will be carried out via telehealth – work from anywhere in Australia for most of the year!
In your role, you will deliver services to clients who are experiencing Speech and Language difficulties. These services will be delivered remotely via a Telehealth platform, offering you full flexibility with face-to-face services a handful of times a year, allowing you to build a connection with your clients.
The role:
Delivery of Speech Pathology services to clients with varying disabilities, presentations and needs.
Delivery of early intervention and promote its importance to participants and families.
Undertake assessments and provide intervention, liaising with families & other relevant stakeholders.
Conduct a variety of speech and language assessments and planning for evidence-based interventions
The interventions will be carried out via Telehealth and face-to-face
Collaborate with your team to enable a holistic, multi-disciplinary approach for best service delivery to clients
Travel to Darwin once every 4-6 weeks to visit your clients and build lasting relationships.
Provide advice and recommendations on assistive technology and other relevant aids.
Your safety is of a high priority – risk assessments are performed for any community engagement and there is a clinic/office space for therapy intervention.

No travel requirements when undertaking telehealth – Work from home
Requirements:
Tertiary Qualification in Speech Pathology (with SPA Membership).
Experience working as a Speech Pathologist – NDIS and Telehealth experience is desirable.
Ability to travel up to Darwin for up to 5-days in a row once every 4-6 weeks.
Good written and verbal communication with the ability to build rapport with clients and families to ensure that therapy is fun and engaging.
Ability to work innovatively – ensuring therapy is delivered successfully remotely.
Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS worker screening clearance, Children's First Aid training (or willingness to obtain these).
