About Us:

Our office is located in Cranbourne, a high growth area & there is a high demand for therapy services.

We are a multidisciplinary team, current offering psychology & occupational therapy & speech therapy

Working as part of our team, the position involves clinical interventions in the form of face-to-face sessions, parent education, clinical assessments, and report writing. Services are provided to clients from the ages of birth through to 18, who present with variety of diagnoses including neurological, developmental and physical.

A pathologist who is happy to work alongside our O.T and Psych teams in a multidisciplinary practice.

An open communicator that can effectively communicate with the many stakeholders that make up a child's team inside and out of Gumboots Child Therapy.

A pathologist who is warm and will be able to support our clients and their families.

What's the work like:

Full time looks like: 4 days full-time hours for work-life balance optimization. Hours: 7:45 am-5:45 pm (Wednesday off). Some flexibility within this is possible for the right applicant

Part time looks like: Flexible, dependent upon mutual agreement.

Direct intervention

Clinic-based work with access to a huge range of resources and we have a sensory gym in Cranbourne.

Emphasis on evidence-based practice for intervention

Group therapy intervention

Supervision and mentoring opportunities for experienced clinicians.

Remuneration:

We are offering the successful applicant above award salary, commensurate with their experience.

Role:

New Graduate or “Soon to be” New Graduate Speech Pathologist

Grade 1 - Speech Pathologist

Grade 2 - Speech Pathologist with Adult/Paediatric experience and/or supervisory experience

Grade 3 - Speech Pathologist with at least 7 years Paediatric experience and/or supervisory experience.

Essential for the role:

Eligible for registration with SPA Australia

Current Police Check, Working with Children’s Check, NDIS Worker Screening
