Imagine a role where every day feels like a chance to change someone’s story. A place where your skills bring dreams to life and where every small win is celebrated by a team that values excellence just as much as you do. If you’re a Speech Pathologist ready to make that kind of impact, we’ve got a role with your name on it.
Join Allied Therapeutic Services Hub (ATS), a dynamic, regional business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, tailored allied health services across North Queensland. We are currently seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver speech pathology assessment and intervention via telehealth to clients within the North Queensland region.
About the Role:
As a telehealth speech pathologist you will play an important role in delivering high-quality, client-centred therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults through virtual sessions. You’ll work closely with clients and their families to support communication, speech, language, literacy, fluency, and/or swallowing needs—without the travel time.
You will have the support of a dedicated administration team to help schedule your clients and work with you regarding your administration requirements. Whether you’re facilitating early language development, supporting social communication, or delivering therapy to clients in regional or remote areas, you’ll be making a real difference, one conversation at a time.
You can work part-time or full-time, from anywhere in Australia. We’ll provide the tech setup, clinical resources, ongoing support, and professional development you need to thrive. This is a maternity backfill position for a period of 6 months with the possibility of extension or permanent appointment.
Who Are You?
You are a qualified Speech Pathologist that is committed to delivering top-notch services and continually seek opportunities to learn and grow.
Hold current registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
You enjoy working with digital tools and adapting therapy for online delivery.
Confident in writing clear plans and delegating to an allied health assistant to further maximise the outcomes for your clients.
You find joy in every session, whether it’s helping a child articulate their first word or supporting an adult in regaining their speech and have a working knowledge augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
You thrive on teamwork and enjoy collaborating with colleagues, clients, and families to achieve the best outcomes.
You have a flair for early intervention, literacy, social skills and helping others find their voice.
Have a keen interest in building quality and supportive Speech Pathology services within ATS.
What Will You Do?
In this exciting role, you’ll engage with clients of all ages via a telehealth model, crafting personalised treatment plans that empower them to overcome communication barriers. You’ll use your creativity and expertise to implement innovative therapy techniques, all while fostering an environment of trust and encouragement. Your work will not only change lives but also inspire others to express themselves more confidently.
