The Opportunity:

Hunter New England LHD is seeking experienced Consultants, Specialists, and VMOs to provide locum support across a range of hospitals in northern NSW. Whether you specialise in Emergency Medicine, Anaesthetics, General Medicine, or Rural Generalist GP, there are flexible shift options available throughout 2025.

These placements are ideal for doctors looking to combine meaningful work in supportive teams with the freedom and reward of locum practice.

Clinical Settings Include:

• Emergency Departments (regional and rural)
• Anaesthetic lists and on-call cover
• General medical inpatient units
• Rural general practice with procedural hospital support

Eligibility Criteria:

• AHPRA Specialist or General Registration
• Fellowship with a relevant college (FRACGP, FACRRM, FRACP, FACEM, FANZCA, etc.)
• Comfortable working independently and supervising junior doctors
• NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
