The Opportunity:

Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is seeking experienced Specialists and Staff Consultants (FRACP, FACEM, FANZCA, FRACS, etc.) to provide locum coverage across its hospital network. With shifts available at Westmead, Blacktown, Auburn, and Mount Druitt, you’ll work in well-supported, high-acuity clinical environments.

Whether you're looking for block bookings or ad hoc shifts, flexible rosters are available throughout 2025 across multiple specialties.

Available Specialties:

• General Medicine
• Emergency Medicine
• Anaesthetics
• ICU/Critical Care
• Surgery (General and Subspecialty)
• After-hours or on-call Consultant cover

Eligibility Criteria:

• AHPRA Specialist Registration
• Fellowship with relevant college (e.g. RACP, FACEM, FANZCA, FRACS)
• Comfortable supervising junior medical staff
• NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check

What’s Provided:

• Up to $3,500/shift depending on scope, specialty, and experience
• Travel, accommodation, and car hire fully covered
• Flexible shift arrangements across weekdays, weekends, and on-call
