As our highly valued Practice Advancement Officer, you’ll use your experience working in the primary healthcare industry, change management, project management and excellent communication skills to support general practice in quality improvement and best practice methods, digital health, MyMedicare, patient data management and programs such as My Care Partners.
You’ll make an impact at scale by:
Developing and maintaining positive and effective working relationships with general practices to support the uptake of various Department of Health and Aged Care initiatives including MyMedicare
Interpreting data to support quality improvement activities in general practice
Promoting change management and practice transformation activities by implementing the My Care Partners program
Providing general practice support via various interaction methods to allocated general practices
Collaborating with your peers in the development and implementation of new health projects
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in health, or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and experience.
Demonstrated experience working in the primary healthcare industry, including working with General Practitioners
The ability to build, develop and sustain positive partnerships and productive working relationships with all levels of stakeholders, with a commitment to customer service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent computer skills, including word processing, data entry and use of a range of software applications
The ability to deliver information in a primary health care setting, with the skills to influence change for improvement in the quality of primary health care service delivery
Demonstrated experience in developing projects and/or implementing health projects.
Current driver’s licence and access to a comprehensively insured motor vehicle.

12 month contract with possible extension dependent on funding.
$72,150 to $79,950 + 12% superannuation and tax-free salary packaging.
