About You
As an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person you have knowledge and understanding of the cultural practices, values and issues that affect Aboriginal people in NSW. You have strong communication skills and are highly flexible and able to adapt to changing business needs and changing priorities.

About the Opportunity
This is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identified role based in Parramatta.
As the Corporate Services Officer you will contribute to the work of Birribee by:
Providing general administrative support across teams as needed, including assisting with system updates, document preparation and office coordination
Undertaking ad hoc tasks to support corporate services and business operations initiatives
Answering phone calls and manage the shared corporate inbox, directing queries to the appropriate teams
Processing invoices, including data entry, validation, and filing in line with corporate procedures
Assisting with maintaining accurate records, including tracking expenses, contracts, and key corporate documents
Supporting travel bookings and general administrative coordination for employees
Maintaining and updating registers, trackers, and corporate databases
Working collaboratively with multiple teams to support broader business operations and ensure seamless communication
Attending staff training events, meetings, and other work-related activities, both in person and online.
Essential Criteria
Aboriginality – Birribee Housing considers Aboriginality a genuine occupational qualification for the role in accordance with the Anti-Discrimination Act (s.14(d))
Knowledge and understanding of the cultural practices, values and issues that affect Aboriginal peoples in NSW
Demonstrated proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office and general office software.
Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and a high-volume workload effectively
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work meticulously and complete tasks accurately and on-time
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to work both independently, and collaboratively within and across teams
Strong customer service skills including the ability to manage conflict and de-escalate challenging situations professionally and effectively
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new processes, tools, and systems
