Are you an individual who has plant and machinery experience and wish to use your current Workplace Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) skills within the Waste Management and Resource Recovery industry.
Iolar Operational Services (IOS) is seeking to engage an individual to work within our company’s current workplace health and safety structure to ensure compliance with safety and operational measures associated with Waste Management and Resource Recovery Centres in Southeast Queensland, based on the Sunshine Coast.

Duties include:
Conducting HSE inspections and audits, record keeping and reporting, attending safety meetings, ensuring compliance with our organisation’s WH&S and Environmental processes.
You will also be required to embrace administrative elements of our business, which include, but is not limited to, banking, training, taking minutes, attending meetings, purchasing supplies and other administration tasks.
Job Location:
Main base: Beerwah and Nambour Resource Recovery Centres (RRCs), with travel to other IOS operated RRCs including Witta, Mapleton, Yandina and Kenilworth.
It is highly desirable that you reside in the Sunshine Coast area. A company utility will be supplied for work related travel.
Job Type: Full-time
Contract length: 14 months
Salary: From $65,000.00 per year base plus superannuation
Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work as directed
Hours: 38 Hours per week
Qualifications and Skills:
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
Strong understanding of plant & machinery operations from a WHS perspective
Drivers Licence
Practical knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety legislation, standards, guidelines and processes
Practical knowledge of Environmental and Quality standards and processes
Proven ability to make decisions independently and in a timely manner
Very good verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
An intermediate level of IT literacy, including the MS Office Suite
You will be required to complete the following: police check and pre-employment health and well being
