This role would be well suited to a candidate with some payroll exposure who is seeking an opportunity to further develop their skills while working alongside experienced team members.

About the role:

Reporting into the Payroll Manager you will assist the team with processing the weekly pays of 2,500 employees. Your duties will include:

• Updating and maintaining of employee records
• New starter onboarding and employee file maintenance
• Processing terminations, redundancies and leave
• Responding to employee queries in a timely manner
• Award interpretation
• Handle inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues

About you:

You are genuinely interested in pursuing a career in payroll and are currently seeking the opportunity to grow and develop your skill set. In addition, you have:

• Prior exposure to payroll along with transferable skills from an accounts / HR or administrative role
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• A dedicated approach to your work along with a genuine willingness to learn
• Full and unlimited Australian working rights
