The Moreton Bay City Pulse is seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Netball Sports Game Analyst & Statistician to join our team on a part-time contract basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and presenting player and team performance data, opposition analysis, and key match statistics to inform game-day strategies and training priorities. Working closely with coaches, medical staff, and athletes, you will play a vital role in driving success through evidence-based decision-making. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of netball, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Capture and analyse in-game performance data during matches and training sessions

Provide post-match reports and statistical breakdowns, including player performance metrics, team trends, and opposition analysis

Maintain and update statistical databases and dashboards

Collaborate with coaching staff to interpret data and deliver actionable insights

Use video analysis software and tagging systems to support tactical evaluations

Monitor key performance indicators and support performance reviews

Assist in pre-game scouting and opposition analysis using historical data

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in sports analytics, preferably within netball or similar team sports

Proficiency with sports performance and video analysis tools

Strong statistical and data analysis skills (e.g., Excel or relevant software)

Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings clearly to coaches and players

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to accommodate match schedules

Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting deadlines

Contract Details:

Part-time: 10–15 hours per week

Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Flexible working arrangements, with some on-site attendance required for matches
