We are a small but growing business in Fyshwick, specialising in composite decking and cladding products imported from China. Our goal is to build up a strong presence in both retail and wholesale markets, with a focus on supplying builders, contractors, and retailers across Canberra and beyond.

What We're Looking For

We're hiring a friendly, confident, and organised local Aussie team member to help run our Fyshwick showroom, manage walk-in customers, and reach out to the local trade community (builders, tilers, carpenters, etc.). This is a hands-on sales/admin role – perfect for someone who can take ownership and help build something from the ground up.

What You'll Be Doing

Greet and assist walk-in customers at our Fyshwick store

Promote our products to local trades and construction companies

Make phone calls, send emails, visit job sites to introduce products

Keep track of inventory and sales records (via Excel / Xero / MYOB)

Create quotes, invoices, and assist with daily operations

What We Need From You

Fluent English and excellent communication skills

Strong initiative – you're not afraid to pick up the phone

Basic computer skills (Excel, POS, or accounting software)

Experience in sales or trade/construction industry is a big plus

Friendly, reliable, and comfortable working with minimal supervision

Bonus Points:

Sales experience in hardware/building materials

Knowledge of cladding, decking, or construction industries

Existing network of builders or trades in Canberra region
