Business Development Manager

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our sales efforts at Aligned Corporate Residences Mackay. This property is located in heart of Mackay, with 97 spacious apartment style rooms. You will be provided with company phone and laptop, uniform and own office to work from. Being out on the road or at reception, learning more about our guests (or ‘Residents’ as we call them), networking, cold calling and building on sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of business growth strategies.
• Identify and establish strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and industry partners to drive sales and revenue.
• Analyse market trends and competition to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the alignment of business objectives and exceptional guest service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of the corporate travel sector, including client acquisition and relationship management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively represent Aligned Corporate Residences Mackay in the market.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and capitalise on business opportunities, working independently as well as part of the local team.
