Our client is a leading civil contractor providing a variety of services to the Australian mining industry and are predominantly involved with rehabilitation, construction, and maintenance across the Pilbara region.

By way of business growth and expansion, they are now seeking Civil Earthworks Supervisors to join their projects team in a BHP Area C site. This role will be working closely with the team on the field.

This is a terrific opportunity to work for a small-sized crew where they are large enough to secure high quality project work, but small enough for you to be a key contributor to the performance of each project.

The Role:
Your duties will include, but not limited to:

• Supervision of a small team including Mobile Plant Operators, Labourers etc.
• Support the team by working out on the field and providing training and development where necessary
• Technical problem solving of any constructability issues and repost back to the Project Manager / Superintendent
• Ensure all works are completed within set timeframes and standards
• Maintain a high level of Health & Safety among all members of the team.

Requirements:

• 5 + years of experience working in a leadership role (Civil Supervisor / Construction Supervisor or similar) within a similar environment
• S26 qualification (mandatory)
• Experience supervising similar projects involving bulk earthworks.
• Previous experience working in a FIFO setting is highly desirable.
• Valid Australian Driver’s license
• Construction White Card
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test
• Full Australian Unrestricted Working Rights

In return, you will be offered a salary package of $180K - $200K + super and will be determined on experience. This is a temp to perm role, with a fast-growing company and offers numerous projects in the pipeline.
