We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager for this 3-month contract opportunity in Wide Bay, Queensland.

Start Date: Immediately

You’ll be joining a leading not for profit Residential Aged Care provider who is well established in Queensland. This business-critical position will be responsible for supporting, coordinating and collaborating with a large interdisciplinary team including registered staff, carers and other members of the healthcare team.

This position is based in Wide Bay, Queensland.

Accommodation is provided as part of this 3 month contract.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate and lead the team to oversee Continuous Improvement, OHS, and Training programs, ensuring care standards are met.

Work with medical and allied health professionals to support positive care outcomes.

Provide recommendations and coordinate referrals to specialists following clinical assessments.

Monitor AN-ACC reviews and ensure accurate documentation to optimize consumer care funding.

Qualifications and Requirements

Current unrestricted RN AHPRA registration

Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification

3+ years as Facility Manager (or equivalent) within Residential Aged Care

Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, Code of Conduct and Charter of Resident Rights

Exercise initiative relating to organisational policies and procedures

Satisfactory national police check

Successful candidates will have permanent Australian working rights
