About the role

FMCG company is seeking an experienced Inventory & Production professional to join our team in Kings Park, NSW. This full-time role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility, overseeing inventory management and production planning to drive efficiency and productivity.

What you'll be doing

Manage all aspects of inventory, including forecasting, ordering, and stock control to meet production requirements

Develop and implement efficient production schedules to optimise resource utilisation and meet customer demand

Liaise with procurement, production, and logistics teams to coordinate the flow of materials and finished goods

Analyse data and generate reports to identify opportunities for improvement in inventory and production processes

Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and industry regulations

Provide leadership and mentoring to the production team

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar inventory and production management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Proficiency in using inventory management and production planning software

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
