Allocating work to team members to meet the requirements of the production schedule.

Monitoring production demands.

Ensuring safety requirements are adhered to.

Ensuring company policies and procedures are being adhered to.

Monitoring product quality and acting as required.

Liaising with production team to ensure daily schedules are met.

Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, unloading, storage, order picking and dispatching stone slabs.

Implement and uphold workplace health and safety procedures and ensure all staff adhere to compliance standards.

Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct routine stock takes.

Pick, pack, and label goods accurately.

Unload, stack, move and place products in designated storage areas.

Double-check items to verify accuracy of outgoing orders.

Maintain clean and orderly warehouse, including general upkeep.

Prioritising workloads and workflow, to ensure the efficient completion of works orders and inventory control.

Provide QC Testing when required.

Ensuring compliance with Australian quality standards.

Identifying and troubleshooting production bottlenecks to improve efficiency.

Communicating any problems or obstacles to senior management.

Regular weekly meetings with management with project / production updates.

Participating / assisting production when required due to time schedules deadlines or backlogs.

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience within a similar role in the electrical industry.

Electrical qualifications preferred.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a production or assembly position.

Experience of working with electrical wiring installations.

Experience in lighting product installation.

Competence in software packages to include Microsoft.

Good interaction skills.

Ability to read and follow technical instructions and wiring diagrams.

Experience with soldering would be advantageous.

Experience in problem solving and providing solutions where possible.

Forklift License preferrable.
