Enviro Pipes is a world class plastic manufacturer owned and operated in Australia.

The Plastics Technician will report to the Laboratory Manager, and will be responsible for:

Adjust function of production machinery to suit different polymers, dimensions of final product.

Ensures that extrusion machines are performing normally and measures finished products applying temperature correction factors.

Replacement of heads, and perform other routine repairs safely and making sure that sources of dangerous energy have been isolated or eliminated.

Operates forklift, side loader and overhead cranes to move finished products and / or equipment.

Recommends process improvements or other changes to improve efficiency, product quality or machine performance.

Completes routine quality checks on the product, such as dimensional checks, ovality, colour and surface appearance.

Follows production plan and workflow processes, and keeps records of operational or production data in accordance with ISO 9001 procedures

The successful candidate will require

 Minimum 5 years manufacturing and/or polymer processing experience.

 Forklift Truck Licence

 High Risk Work Licence

 Manufacturing, Polymer Technology qualifications (optional)

 Quality management qualifications (optional)

 First Aid Certificate
