We’re seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager who thrives in a hospitality environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in similar high-volume, fast-paced environments, preferably with outdoor work exposure.
Strong practical skills and a passion for fixing, maintaining, and improving facilities.
A positive, can-do attitude that contributes to a team-oriented culture.
Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate and address issues before they become problems.
Confidence in managing contractors, suppliers, and a small team.
Tech-savvy with basic computer skills for maintenance logs, ordering supplies, and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
Perform regular site inspections and address reactive maintenance issues promptly.
Coordinate external contractors and trades as required.
Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance to a high standard.
Oversee the delivery and storage of stock, including bulk liquor.
Lead, train, and support a small team of casual maintenance staff.
Maintain compliance with Workplace Health & Safety standards.
Conduct routine safety checks and hazard identification.
Maintain high presentation standards across public-facing areas.
Perform manual handling tasks and operate machinery and cleaning equipment safely.
Requirements
Excellent communication skills with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.
High attention to detail.
Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks, including lifting to 20kg, kneeling, squatting, and working with chemicals/machinery.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
Desirable
First Aid Certificate.
Working at Heights Certificate.
Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
