Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical practice support for practitioners working within the Universal MCH Service including graduates, VMCHN student model nurses and MCH students, and undertake clinical sessions as required.
  • Make decisions on the day to day running of the Maternal and Child Health service, to ensure optimum outcomes in all aspects of service delivery, Government policy and the Maternal and Child Health program standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure a high standard of service, consistent with Council and Government policy and Maternal and Child Health program standards.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports, advice and support to management as requested as well as contribute to the annual budget and reporting process and monitor expenditure.
