About the Company:

Reporting into the IT Operations Manager you will be responsible for maintaining the technology environment in an efficient, compliant and reliable manner.

About the Role:

• Lead the 3-person strong IT Operations team.
• Maintain a high-level understanding of the infrastructure environment and the services it provides, including: datacentres, end user computing, servers, databases, storage, networks, telephony, firewalls and websites.
• Maintain up to date knowledge in infrastructure trends and proactively pursue opportunities to reduce costs and improve services.
• Maintain the IT environment to ensure performance and availability requirements are met.
• Engage and work with vendors and other third parties involved in the delivery of key IT Services.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Lead and drive the implementation of change initiatives required to maintain or improve existing services.
• Establish and maintain plans to ensure systems are maintained at operationally healthy levels.

About the Candidate:

• 5+ years’ experience in IT, with previous team leadership experience.
• Attention to detail when configuring systems and documenting network and server functionality.
• Strong Cloud (Microsoft Azure) and Office 365 knowledge
• Experience in vendor management and a mature, confident and professional attitude.
• Logical analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyse information and make good risk-based decisions.
• Technical knowledge & experience in Windows operating systems.
