We are seeking a detail-oriented Office & Finance Administrator to manage financial and administrative operations in our resources sector company. The role involves overseeing bookkeeping, portfolio reconciliation, compliance management, and general office tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
Finance:
Maintain accurate financial records across platforms including Xero, spreadsheets, and other software.
Process transactions, reconcile accounts, and perform payroll functions (including superannuation, BAS/IAS).
Coordinate payments and manage inter-account transfers.
Accounts and Reconciliation:
Daily reconciliation and invoice processing using Xero and QuickBooks.
Assign and track expenditures, manage payroll, and ensure consistency across financial systems.
General Office and Compliance Administration:
Manage office communications, vendor relationships, and contract documentation.
Ensure we are meeting deadlines and with government regulations related to exploration tenements (‘tenement management’), including timely reporting, payments, and submissions of required documentation. This is something you can learn and master on job.
Conduct administrative tasks including updating records, website management, and general office organization.
Maintain organised files and documents on digital/cloud storage and physical filing.
Additional Duties:
Support sample tracking and logistics operations.
Perform periodic physical office tasks including mail management, supply orders, and maintaining office cleanliness.
Requirements:
Experience in bookkeeping, administration, or finance roles.
Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks, Excel, and familiarity with investment platforms.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
