About the role

COLAC Port Adl - The Dock Hospitality Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Restaurant Supervisors to join our team in Port Adelaide, South Australia. Set to open in mid July, Colac is an exciting new venue set to showcase the best of Australian food and beverage. This is a full-time role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our busy restaurant.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating the restaurant floor team, including servers, bartenders, and hosts

Ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive dining experience for all guests

Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, such as scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling

Resolving any customer issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner

Providing training and mentoring to the restaurant team to maintain high standards

Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure menu items are prepared and presented to the highest quality

Adhering to all health, safety, and licensing regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a restaurant supervisory or management role

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to lead and motivate a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in cash handling, inventory management, and scheduling

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Familiarity with food service regulations and best practices

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations
