About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join the dynamic team at Network Solutions Group Pty Ltd. Based in our Penrith, NSW office, this full-time role will be responsible for managing the company's financial accounting and reporting functions, playing a key part in the overall financial operations of the business.

What you'll be doing

Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow

Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations

Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis

Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies

Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making

Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors as required

Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls

What we're looking for

Degree in Accounting or Finance

Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification

Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in a similar financial accounting role

Excellent knowledge of Australian accounting standards, taxation requirements, and financial reporting

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office suite

Experience with an ERP, MS Business Central, highly desirable

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
