About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant to join our team at MoveMed Exercise Physiology in Templestowe Lower, VIC. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to work alongside our experienced exercise physiologists, supporting the delivery of land (gym) based and hydrotherapy rehabilitation services to our clients.

What you'll be doing

Assisting exercise physiologists with the delivery of rehabilitation programs, including exercise prescription, equipment set-up, and client monitoring

Providing general support to the allied health team, such as maintaining treatment rooms and scheduling appointments

Communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide a high level of customer service

Collaborating with the team to ensure seamless and coordinated care for our clients

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation

What we're looking for

Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification

Experience working in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting, preferably in an allied health assistant role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

A genuine interest in health, fitness, and supporting people on their journey to recovery

A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively with the allied health team
