The Role
Key Accountabilities:
- Liaising with corporate support teams in the Commission and the Department of Health to ensure effective provision of corporate, human resources and IT services to the team
- Providing administrative support to the team including maintaining stationery, postage services, building maintenance requests, maintaining security passes, authorised officer cards, assistance with travel and credit card processing and maintaining up to date contacts and phone lists
- Coordinating arrangements for training and meetings, including preparation of documentation and arranging room bookings, materials and catering when required
- Maintaining timely and accurate records on various IT systems
- Working as a team with Administration Support Officers and Executive Assistants across the Commission to support organisational priorities.

8th Signal Regiment is a national regiment that supports and enables with communications abilities to the 2nd Division in their domestic operational requirements 109 Signal Squadron, a part of 8th Signal Regiment, supports elements in Western Australia a part of the national effect for domestic operations. As part of 109 Signal Squadron the potential candidate will work in a small team with peers across Australia in delivering administrative tasks/ processes

Qualities and capabilities:
- Demonstrated organisational skills at a high level to provide day to day administrative support to Executives
- Knowledge, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of the role and functions of the Commission to support business priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work in productive partnership to optimise performance and achieve business results
- Ability to work with broad supervision, and to identify priorities to meet competing deadlines.
- Effective written communication skills, including the ability to draft various forms of documents and correspondence, and concisely summarise information
- Ability to communicate with influence and work collaboratively to resolve complex issues
