The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in understanding and shaping client requirements, configuring CRM systems, and ensuring seamless project delivery. You'll work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver solutions that make a real impact, contributing directly to our vision of being a leader in IT solutions that positively transform lives.

What you’ll do

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and create technical specifications, business process maps and solution recommendations for CRM and custom software solutions.

Engage with clients to workshop and document their needs.

Quickly learn and master new software to provide expert guidance to clients and teammates.

Configure CRM software to meet client specifications.

Assist in delivering integrations, automations, and data migrations.

Promote a culture of innovation, caring, and excellence in all interactions.

Resolve support requests promptly and effectively for customer and internal platforms.

Report progress and issues to the project lead to ensure project alignment.

What you’ll bring

Proven experience in business analysis or CRM consulting with a technical focus.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to design and improve business processes.

Excellent organisational and project management abilities to maintain project momentum.

Passion for working with purpose-driven organisations and a collaborative mindset.

Proficiency in creating documentation and process maps for diverse business processes (e.g., finance, fundraising, customer service).

Ability to think laterally, offering multiple solutions to problems, and work independently with limited supervision.

Excellent communication skills to facilitate stakeholder collaboration and resolve issues.

Must live in Australia with permanent work rights. Overseas candidates need not apply.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with CRM platforms such as MS Dynamics, Salesforce, Hubspot, Blackbaud, or Virtuous CRM.

Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress, NationBuilder, or Umbraco.

Knowledge of finance platforms (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and payment processors/platforms (Stripe, PayPal, FundraiseUp, Raisely).

Experience with automation tools such as Zapier or Power Automate (formerly PowerApps).

Relevant qualifications in business management, accounting, or project management.

Other technical skills you can bring to the role include software development, database design, reporting and data analytics.

Experience with Human Design for developing user/donor journeys.
