Female Community Support Worker – Complex Mental Health (Revesby)

We are currently seeking a female Community Support Worker in the Revesby area to support a female client with complex mental health and behavioural support needs, including schizophrenia, acquired brain injury (ABI), and other co-occurring diagnoses.

Please note: due to the nature of this role, applicants must identify as female and have proven experience supporting individuals with complex mental health conditions and high-intensity behavioural needs.

About the Role:

This is not your average support worker role. You’ll be working closely with a client who requires a high level of consistency, emotional intelligence, and resilience. This is a deeply rewarding role for someone with the right experience and mindset.

Your support will include:

Personal care (including bathing, bowel care, dressing, grooming)

Medication support and behaviour-aware assistance

Domestic tasks (cleaning, laundry, meal prep, shopping)

Community access, transport to appointments, and recreational support

Working collaboratively with the client on achieving their NDIS goals

Accurately recording daily notes and incident reports where required

To Succeed in This Role, You Must Have:

Mandatory experience working with clients with complex mental health diagnoses and their associated behaviours

Understanding of conditions such as TBI, schizophrenia, and psychosocial disabilities

Strong boundaries, excellent judgement, and emotional resilience

Previous experience in disability, aged care, or mental health support

Sound knowledge of personal care and medication administration

Bowel care and/or Manual Handling training (highly desirable)

Outstanding communication and de-escalation skills

Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

Basic computer literacy and confidence with client management systems

Shifts Available (Revesby):

Monday: 9:30am – 12:00pm

Tuesday: 10:00am – 3:00pm

Wednesday: 11:00am – 3:00pm

Thursday: 11:00am – 3:00pm

Friday: 11:00am – 3:00pm

Sunday: 8:30am – 11:30am

Additional hours available with other clients across Western Sydney.
