Financial Accountant

This is a role for someone who knows their way around a balance sheet, gets excited by clean reconciliations, and can spot an inconsistency faster than most people can spot a typo.

What you’ll do:

Own the month-end and year-end close - journals, accruals, intercompany, stock, fixed assets (you know the drill).

Maintain a spotless balance sheet - with monthly reconciliations that actually reconcile.

Support financial reporting and compliance - including BAS, GST, and payroll tax lodgments.

Jump in to cover AP or bank recs when needed - you’re a team player, not just a title.

What you’ll need:

University degree in Finance or Accounting

CPA or relevant professional certification

A few solid years in financial accounting to know what good looks like.

Confidence with accounting standards (AASB), tax rules, and internal controls.

Strong Excel skills, and ideally some exposure to JDE (not a dealbreaker if not).

Curious, coachable, and up for a challenge.
