About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our finance team within a fast-paced financial services environment. This role will suit someone with strong data skills, a proactive mindset, and a solid understanding of financial services products and complex accounting concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reports and management reporting

Perform month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations

Support systems accounting tasks including general ledger maintenance and automation improvements

Manage high volumes of financial data inputs with accuracy and efficiency

Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records through effective reconciliations

Assist in the ongoing improvement of reporting processes, controls, and systems

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between finance, operations, and compliance teams

About You:

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA preferred or in progress)

Demonstrated experience in financial accounting, ideally within financial services

Strong understanding of financial services products and complex accounting treatments

Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets and multiple systems

Excellent attention to detail, with a hands-on and solutions-focused approach

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
