Seeking Project Exploration Geologists for Gold producer.

Geologists must be based in Australia and have an Australian Visa

4-10 years geological experience in early and later stage exploration, including exposure to AC, RC and diamond drilling.

The project location is remote and will require significant bush skills and problem-solving abilities, with limited camp facilities outside of the drill season.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor of Science in Geology,

Minimum of 4 years experience in mineral exploration;

Experience working with various exploration datasets and ability to conduct geological interpretation and develop working geological models;

Relevant understanding of QAQC procedures, drilling and sampling practices and standard gold industry laboratory analytical methods;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and

Has a current Australian Driver’s Licence (can drive a manual transmission).

Tasks & Responsibilities

Reports to the Exploration Manager or nominated person;

Commitment to working safely and the promotion of safe working practices with colleagues and contractors;

Planning, implementation and efficient management of exploration programs, including drilling, in a timely and safe manner; on budget and in compliance with Heritage and statutory requirements;

Modelling and Technical reporting

Project Generation

Assessment of exploration results and make recommendations for further work;

Generate and interpret targets utilising geological, geochemical and geophysical data;

Supervision of personnel to produce high quality geological logging of core and chips;

Able to work remotely if required;

Effective communication and leadership of field staff and contractors; and

Compilation of daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
