We are on the hunt for an extraordinary Coordinator who is solutions orientated with a keen eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills. Your role will be pivotal in translating our ambitious goals into actionable milestones. The oversight and meticulous coordination you will provide will span a myriad of projects, processes and activities. You will become a leader in transparency and governance, effectively monitoring program dynamics such as resources, timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder management.

In essence, you will be at the heart of ECU’s biggest project yet that is not just about bricks and mortar, but about building a facility that shapes the leaders of tomorrow. Everything you do will make a difference to students, staff, and community, as we work collectively to bring ECU City to life.

About You

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project coordination, preferably within a large organisation or a tertiary education environment, with a background in service delivery and operational development. Strong change management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders are essential. They will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a proactive, solution-focused approach. Previous experience in production management—particularly in performing or creative arts environments—would be highly advantageous, given the nature of the role. The role involves improving efficiency, supporting staffing, training, and compliance, and working collaboratively to develop a new Shared Loans Services Delivery Model for the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and the Creative Humanities disciplines of the School of Arts and Humanities (SAH).

Benefits & Remuneration

This full time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $115,042 to $129,573 per annum plus 17% University superannuation contribution.

You will be based at ECU Mount Lawley Campus in 2025 and will be required to travel to ECU’s Joondalup and City Campuses on occasion. From January 2026, this role will be based at ECU City Campus
