The Role:
An exciting career opportunity exists for a highly motivated and proactive Venue Manager to lead the team at The Beaumont.

We seek an experienced hospitality professional who will bring their ideas and enthusiasm to support the growth of the business and motivate the team to deliver their best.

Oversee all food and beverage areas and working collaboratively with group and department managers. Create and support incentives in food, beverages and promotions across the venue. A hands-on approach encouraging best practice and compliance from your team.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Overseeing the operation of the venue by ensuring all areas are running as efficiently and as cost effectively as possible, without compromising experience.

· Cultivating an engaged, motivated and high performing service and experience-oriented team of people who strive for excellence.

· Ensuring that all stock requirements for the venue are maintained and efficiently stored.

· Ensure the venue is maintained in a safe and efficient manner, identifying and prioritising repairs.

· Compliance with OHS legislation, policies and procedures.

· Knowledge of and adherence to the company’s policies and procedures.

· Ensure that a Responsible Service of Alcohol is respected.

· Produce and review stock-takes and identify/correct any areas for concern.

· Late night compliance

The ideal candidate will possess at least five years' management experience of a multi-faceted venue, preferably in the hospitality, retail or service industries, including demonstrable experience in sound financial management of a business unit or location.

You must possess excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate to a diverse workforce and client base.

Exceptional people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team to produce desired outcomes is essential, as is the ability to interview, recruit and induct new team members. You must demonstrate sound knowledge of Queensland liquor licencing and OHS laws, and possess a current RMLV, OLGR Approved Managers Licence & First Aid Certificate.
