Tiffany's Maleny is searching for an experienced Venue Manager ready for this new & exciting challenge!
As a hands on venue manager you will be tasked with leading the front of house & bar team for all the weddings, functions & special events hosted by Tiffany's each year! Working with unsurpassed views of the Glasshouse Mountains, we are looking for a proficient & positive leader to join the growing team.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will have the responsibility of leading both the front of house & bar environments. We are seeking a career minded hospitality professional looking to move away from the pressures of a la carte environments & take the rewarding leap into weddings & special events.

Who you are:
Hands-on approach to management with a light-hearted & kind demeanor
Ability to proactively lead and guide our events/functions team.

Ability to shape & drive young hospitality professionals
Wednesday to Sunday availability required
Able to work until 12am (midnight)
Showcase immaculate grooming standards, leading by example
Possess a fun, energetic, positive & kind attitude
About the role:
Hands-on management of all weddings, functions & events both front of house and in the bar environments, ensuring high standards of products & service are delivered.
Proactively develop and implement new processes & procedures to further perfect service & product delivery.
Provide a contact point for internal & external stakeholders including several different departments, company directors, suppliers, external vendors & more.
Work closely with the wedding coordination team to ensure successful handover & operation of events.
Work closely with the back of house kitchen team to ensure perfect execution of weddings, functions and events.
Work cohesively with the bar management team to ensure high levels of service & products are offered.
Manage staffing budgets to ensure business profitability.
Train & manage wedding, function & event staff, whilst ensuring all products, service & company values are met to the highest standard.
Necessary Skills & Experience:
Bachelor/Diploma in Hospitality/Event Management (Preferred)
3+ Years experience in similar venue, function or restaurant management role
High level of understanding of hospitality management
Possess exceptional customer service skills
Experienced in IMPOS point of sale system (preferred)
Strong engagement & communication skills
Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer experiences
Strong leadership & organisational skills with a focus on great time management
Barista experience required
Bartending experience required
