Petrie Community OSHC is seeking a qualified and experienced OSHC Coordinator to join our dedicated team.

Our service is an integral part of the Our Lady of the Way Parish and School community, playing a key role in fostering connections between school, home, and the community.

This full-time position (38 hours per week) involves split shifts, working across both Before School Care (BSC) and After School Care (ASC), as well as Vacation Care. The successful candidate will lead a dynamic service that cares for approximately 90 children from Prep to Grade 6 across both our Junior and Senior campuses.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for education and leadership to make a meaningful contribution. The successful applicant will commence in mid-July.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational program
• Manage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration and financial management tasks
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Centacare Child Care Services

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
• Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor of the service
• A strong understanding of Child Care legislation including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place
• Previous experience in childcare service management
• Effective computer skills including experience with child care management software (QikKids preferred)
• Proven leadership skills to develop a team of staff
